INTRODUCTION
Welcome
to The Physics Club TM, founded in Austin, Texas in 2004! We're a
social club for people interested in physical science and technology... in
the best tradition of Jules Verne and HG Wells. Our goal is to
create a fellowship of scientists and physics enthusiasts to gather and
have great discussions that may lead to discovery through
experimentation. And you don't have to be an official scientist
or physicist to join us. We think that there is much untapped genius
in Austin, among our everyday physics enthusiasts.
Do you find yourself
nostalgic for the Jules Verne/Tesla days of the physical science
frontier?... Remember when there was an abundance of potential and
excitement about scientific discovery? We hope to bring
back that excitement and wonder, and we hope that you will consider joining
us on that journey. Again, our goal is to create a scientific
fellowship with potential for our members to collaborate on a
project.
